Achicar PDF

A simple Windows app that shrinks scanned PDFs with Ghostscript: drag the file onto the window and it does the rest.

How it works

• Drag a PDF in and the result is saved to the same folder.
• Smart mode: you set a maximum size in MB and it works out the rest.
• Manual mode too, with PPI and an option to force grayscale.
• If Ghostscript is missing, the app offers to download it from the official source.

Requirements

Windows 10 or later. The app needs Ghostscript to process the PDFs; you install it once.
